Such was the case with this design project.

The design for "Orchid Embrace" evolved from several favorite pictures in the portfolio of this professional photographer.  It features a moon crafted in a heavily textured glass wrapped in the petal arms of a many-shaded purple orchid.

Dimensions:  30" Round

Construction:  This panel was crafted using class Tiffany construction.  Stained glass and faceted glass jewels were wrapped in copper foil and carefully soldered into a zinc frame.  The black patina finish emphasizes the beautiful colors of glass to take center stage.
